Chelsea are reportedly keeping tabs on former Barcelona manager, Luis Enrique amid pressure on current head coach Graham Potter at Stamford Bridge.

According to Fichajes, Chelsea could make a move for Enrique if they choose to replace Potter.

The report added that Chelsea have ‘meddled strongly’ with the idea of making a move for the Spaniard following Potter’s poor performance so far this season.

Despite the money spent by Chelsea since co-owner, Todd Boehly took over the west London club, results have not improved under Potter.

Enrique could be managing the likes of big-money signings Enzo Fernandez and Mykhailo Mudryk soon.

The former Spain coach has been out of a job since the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, where his side crashed out in a penalty shootout defeat against Morocco in the knock-out stages.

A move to Chelsea would signal a return to club football for the 52-year-old for the first time since 2017 – when he was managing Barcelona.

It is a matter of time before Potter goes. He should never have been appointed in the first place. If it's not a good, fit; it would never be a good fit. All the new signings would now intensify the pressure for wins on him and speed up his date of departure. Is Enrique coming? I doubt it. Is Zidane better and is he going to come? Yes, better but Zidane WON'T take the job for reasons he gave in the past which hasn't changed; even on the three occasions when Man U wanted him and his services. Don't bet against a Mourinho 3rd spell though. He is 85% more likely to return than Enrique or Zidane walking through the door at Stamford Bridge. Would I give Mourinho this or any other job in management? No! No!! No!!! He is a spent force.  He is now a managerial fraud. The mystic left him a long time ago and it won't return. His heart is no longer in it.
