Ex Pres. Aide, Bahir Ahmed Begs Nigerians To Pray To God Over High Cost Of Living

Former presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad has begged Nigerians to pray to God to help us as cost of living skyrockets.
 
Bashir said this in a Facebook post written in Hausa hours after the NNPC increased the pump price of fuel to N617.
 
In the post he shared, Bashir stated that rather than focus on cost of daily items, Nigerians should pray to God to guide us on a daily basis. He wrote;
 
“Let's not focus more on the cost of daily utensils, rather focus more on praying to God to guide us on our daily basis. Amen amen amen!”

What an idiot? This is why progress isn't being made in the country. We vote leaders in to make policy decisions to improve our lives but the likes of you think we should pray. If prayer is the answer to government policies, why did we elect political leaders then? And why hasn't your 5 times a day and those of countless number of mosque, churches and penterascal noise making commercial centres across the country solved the country's problems since 1960? We need the govt to make good and effective policies speedily, not pray.
