Ugandan Church Attempts To Break GWR For Longest Clapping Session

Phaneroo Ministries ,a popular Church in Ugandan has attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the longest clapping session as its members clapped NON STOP for 3 hours and 16 minutes.

The clapping tagged 'Clap for Jesus', and took place on Sunday, July 30,2023 at the church venue.

The rules of the attempt included - clapping hands only, with no vocal noise and stomping, no musical instruments, all phones in silent mode, no bathroom breaks, and sound levels had to be maintained at 80 decibels throughout the attempt. Anyone who needed drink water or soda, someone would be assigned to them, holding a bottle to their mouth as they sipped the drink, clapping.

The world record for the longest clapping session is presently held by Stevens Clark at 2 hours, 5 minutes in UK on July 20, 2019.
