Maryam Shettima, a former ministerial nominee, who is also known as Dr. Maryam Shetty smiles again as she’s reportedly compensated with a fresh appointment as the Special adviser to the president on Culture and Entertainment after her name was struck off the Ministerial list.

The acting CBN Governor, Akinsola Akin made the news known with his congratulatory message to Maryam Shetty.

Dr. Maryam Shetty while explaining why her name was initially struck out by Mr President, expressed optimism that her withdrawal from the list of ministerial nominees would not be the end of her political journey.

Recall that the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, on Friday, read a letter from President Bola Tinubu, asking the House to replace Maryam Shetty with her classmate, Mariya Mahmoud.
