A 16-year-old girl, Temitope Ewuoso, has accused her father, Kayode, of molesting her.
The victim alleged that her father had continuously been demanding and forcing her to have s3x inside his room in Solotan Estate, Laderin, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
According to the victim, the father began to demand s3x immediately after her mother divorced him.
While reporting the incident to the operatives of the Ogun State Social Orientation and Safety Corps, who in turn took the case to the nearest police station, the father was arrested.
During the interrogation, the suspect claimed that the daughter was lying against him because he rebuked her for her waywardness and promiscuity.
“She is lying. She is using this as a ploy to cover up her promiscuity, which I scolded her for,” the father was quoted telling the police operatives.
Meanwhile, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, who confirmed the incident, told Punch correspondent that the investigation was ongoing.
