Nigerian activist, Usman Okai Austin, has advised men to support and empower their wives.
He gave the advice in a Facebook post on Wednesday, January 3.
“You need to build, support and empower your wife today. If not, your relatives will use your kids as their house helps when you die,” he wrote.

DON'T TAKE WHAT HE SAYS OUT OF CONTEXT. TRUTH IS, IT IS HIGHLY LIKELY THAT COUPLE WILL NOT DIE EXACTLY AT THESAME TIME. BUT IF THEY ARE TRUTHFUL AND WORK TOWARDS A COMMON GOAL, EVEN IF ONE OF THEM PASSES, THE OTHER SHOULD BE ABLE TO CARRY ON RAISING THE KIDS. THAT IS THE IDEA.....MOST MEN HAVE STABLE JOBS WHILE MAKING THEIR WIVES HOME KEEPERS. HE IS TALKING TO THESE CLASS OF MEN.....SURELY YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE.
