Kuda Bank, a mobile banking service, has rewarded a Nigerian woman named Debbie, who has recently gained attention on social media, with a sum of 2 million naira.
The announcement was made on the bank’s official Twitter page.
This gesture comes shortly after Debbie shared that she had started waking up early to cook for her husband, prompted by a coworker who had previously brought him food at his workplace.
Since her announcement, Debbie has received numerous gifts, including a TV, a new fridge, a microwave, a bed frame, a mattress, a wardrobe, an iPhone, and an Infinix mobile phone.
In the midst of this attention, Kuda Bank, the mobile bank Debbie uses for her transactions, has promised to match the exact amount currently in her account.
The bank posted on its official page, stating, “As your bank, we’re happy to match the ₦2,044,133.94 balance in your screenshot. Keep doing you, Debbie!”
