Nigerian Man Breaks Down in Tears After Using His Mother’s N8m to Play Sporty Bet, Loses All

A young man has resorted to social media to seek aid after losing his mother’s whole N8 million savings on sports betting.

The man, whose name is unknown, allegedly utilised his mother’s vast resources to earn massive gains, only to have his efforts fail before him.

The news broke after an influencer named Shola published the man’s request for help on social media.

Along with the request, Shola presented documentation of the young man’s devastating losses.

“8 million gone like that, and it isn’t even his money. “Y’all better slow down on this betting addiction,” Shola captioned.

According to the evidence shared by Shola, the man initially experienced a stroke of luck, managing to secure winnings amounting to N2.1 million.


However, his brief success didn’t last long. His following bets led to continuous losses, eventually resulting in the complete depletion of the entire N8 million stake.
