A young Nigerian woman recently found herself in a distressing situation after experiencing a concerning security breach during her stay at a hotel in Ibadan, Oyo State.
In a video circulating widely on social media, the woman narrated her unsettling encounter, recounting how she had traveled from Lagos to Ibadan and checked into a hotel for the night.
According to her account, around midnight, she was startled when a couple, armed with a card provided by the hotel receptionist, managed to unlock the door to her room. The intruding couple, visibly embarrassed, quickly excused themselves, claiming they had mistakenly entered the wrong room.
The woman expressed shock and fear at the incident, especially since she was undressed at the time of the intrusion. She expressed disbelief that the card issued to the couple could unlock her room as well.
The viral video has sparked concerns about hotel security protocols and the safety of guests, prompting discussions about the need for improved security measures to prevent similar breaches in the future.
