A yet-to-be-identified married woman has been arrested for assaulting another woman, accusing her of having an affair with her husband.
According to a viral video clip, the suspect confronted the victim at her residence, accusing her of sleeping with her husband. The confrontation occurred in the presence of the victim's friends, who witnessed the altercation. In the clip, the suspect is seen grabbing the victim's shirt and accusing her of being a homewrecker.
The suspect expressed her grievances, claiming that she had provided housing and support to the victim for eight months. She further asserted that she assisted her friend during childbirth and organized the christening for her baby.
"She turned against me and accused me of being promiscuous, alleging that I used business funds to buy a house. My partner, unaware of these claims, ended our relationship," the woman stated in the video. "Now, she is involved with Lekan, whom I introduced to her."
The victim called 911, and a metropolitan police officer quickly responded to the scene. The distressed victim laid on the ground to demonstrate the severity of the assault to the officer. The suspect was subsequently handcuffed and taken into custody.
