
The spokesperson of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command, SP Josephine Adeh, has released the names and photos of two policemen who were brutally murdered by members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), also known as Shi'ites.
The tragic incident occurred during a violent clash between the Shi’ite group and police officers in Abuja.
The slain personnel identified as ASP Innocent Agabi and Inspector Alexander Odey, were k!lled while four other officers, including a female, sustained injuries during a clash with Shi'ite members who attacked a police checkpoint in Wuse area of Abuja last week.
Three patrol vehicles were also set ablaze by the Shi’ites during the clash.

The PPRO shared photos of the slain officers in a post on Sunday, September 1.
“Last Sunday, these police officers set out to fulfill their duties, but sadly, they lost their lives in the hands of the Shi'ites. As breadwinners for their families, one can only imagine the deep sorrow their loved ones are experiencing now. May their souls find eternal rest. Late ASP INNOCENT AGBABI and Late INSPR ALEXANDER ODEY,” she wrote.
