Ademola Lookman has been named Atalanta’s Player of the Month for September, following his series of standout performances.
The club announced his achievement on their official X account, recognizing his vital contributions during the month.
Lookman, 26, netted two goals and provided one assist in the month under review.
His efforts were particularly vital in Atalanta’s thrilling 3-2 victory over Fiorentina, where he not only scored but also assisted a crucial goal.
Although Atalanta faced a setback in their 3-2 loss to Como, Lookman found the back of the net once again.
In the UEFA Champions League, Lookman has also made an impact, recording one goal and one assist across two group stage games.
His fame has also grown beyond Atalanta, with the player becoming the backbone of the Super Eagles.
His presence in Augustine Eguavoen’s team has been heavily felt, having scored double, helping Nigeria beat Benin Republic at home in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
