Patrick Ubong, a UK-based Nigerian man, has tragically passed away a year after moving to the United Kingdom with his wife. Ubong was involved in a severe car accident on September 23, 2024, in which his vehicle collided head-on with a trailer, leaving his car wrecked.
Following the crash, Ubong was hospitalized for several days but was discharged on September 30th, relying on crutches for mobility. However, his condition took a fatal turn on Thursday, October 17, 2024.
According to a statement released by the family via a GoFundMe page, Ubong’s wife, Lily, returned home from work to find only his crutches in their apartment. After hours of searching and worrying, she was informed by the police that Ubong had been found lifeless in the corridor of their building.
The cause of his death remains unclear, and the family is now grieving the unexpected loss.
