In an unconventional turn of events, former Brazilian striker Hulk is set to hold a religious wedding ceremony with Camila Angelo, the niece of his ex-wife. According to reports from *Portal Leodias*, Hulk, who currently plays for Atlético Mineiro, previously married Camila in a civil ceremony in 2020. The couple now plans to celebrate their union with a religious ceremony on a beach in Paraíba, Brazil, though the exact date is yet to be set.
Hulk, 38, was married to Camila’s aunt, Iran Angelo, for 12 years before their marriage ended in July 2019. The former couple shares three children: Ian, Tiago, and Alice, who are now cousins to Hulk’s new wife, Camila. Just months after his divorce, Hulk made headlines when he revealed his relationship with Camila in December 2019. By September 2020, the couple had married, and they have since welcomed two daughters, Zaya and Aisha.
In addressing his new relationship, Hulk openly informed his family, including his three children, about his decision. His spokesperson at the time stated, “Hulk wanted to be transparent and avoid any misunderstandings, so he personally informed Camila’s family and shared the news publicly.”
The ceremony may face potential delays, as Atlético Mineiro remains in contention for the CONMEBOL Libertadores Cup, which could extend their season and require Hulk’s focus on club commitments.
Hulk’s football career has spanned clubs across continents, including notable successes with Russia’s Zenit St. Petersburg and China’s Shanghai SIPG. Despite the personal controversies, he maintains a prominent standing in Brazilian football, with his relationship with Camila continuing to draw attention both domestically and internationally.
