A Nigerian man who shared details of the incident on X (formerly Twitter) expressed his sorrow, stating that the other skitmakers involved in the shoot were apprehended by estate security and handed over to law enforcement authorities for further investigation. The incident is the second drowning in the area in just three days, highlighting the ongoing risks associated with the lagoon.
The man, who claimed to be a witness, said,
