Fortune Adaobi Okechukwu has addressed the bigamy allegations made by her estranged husband, Anthony Echebiri, an officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

Echebiri accused Adaobi of abandoning him and their daughters to marry another man while still legally married to him.

However, Adaobi has reportedly denied the claims, stating that her estranged husband has been spreading misinformation to tarnish her reputation.

Adaobi explained that their marriage broke down due to irreconcilable differences and alleged emotional and financial abuse from Echebiri. She clarified that she has taken legal steps to dissolve the marriage before moving on with her life.

He also claimed that Adaobi is currently pregnant for her alleged new husband, a situation which he said has left him devastated.

Reacting to the allegation in a Facebook post on Saturday, November 23, she prayed never to find a man that would love her if she had truly left her estranged husband despite him treating her well.

If Mr A loved, cared and treated Ms F well and she left, may Ms F never see a man that will love, care and treat her like Mr A ….. Iseeeeeeeee,” she wrote.

There are always civil ways of leaving a relationship. 20yrs up the lane, this woman will start accusing the man of preventing her to see her kids forgetting that, she chooses her feelings over raising her children!
