A repentant man has admitted to being responsible for his nephew's unemployment, confessing that he bewitched him out of jealousy.
The man took to a Facebook platform to confirm this as he continues to feel contrite over what he had done.
According to the man, his daughter and his brother’s son had both gained admission in to university.
However, his daughter gotten pregnant and had to drop out of school, which left him jealous over his brother’s son who continued his education.
He revealed that he had visited a herbalist who bewitched the young man, leaving him jobless after graduation.
The man however revealed that he is now repentant and regrets what he did.
His words: “Please keep me anonymous. In 2021 my brother’s son was doing his last year at varsity and my daughter fell pregnant during first year and dropped out.
"I went to a sangoma [Native doctor] to block my nephew from getting a job after completing his studies. I was just jealous that he would be more successful than my daughter. He has been struggling to get a job since he graduated.
"Earlier this year I got saved and I’m now a staunch churchgoer. I regret what I did in 2021. I have been praying hard for God to reverse it but it’s not working. I can’t go back to the sangoma because I don’t associate with evil spirits anymore.
"But it hurts me to see my educated nephew struggling to find a job. My daughter works at a tuchshop owned by a Pakistani. What must I do?”
