America's President-elect Donald Trump has pledged to "stop the transgender lunacy" on the first day of his presidency, signaling a commitment to implementing policies that would significantly impact transgender rights in the United States.
In a speech delivered in Phoenix, Arizona, Trump outlined several measures aimed at restricting transgender rights:
