1. Its been ageless VIRGINS go to alter with VIEW COVERING FACE. Though the lady can lie or ignore the philosophy and still close view on face than push it back. Its for her.
2. Variety of gown colors like peach, milk, cream, pink, sky blue exists. A man marrying second wife once insisted the lady go on pink. The cake , decor , cards followed pink.
3. Personally and as I have asked some poll, men should not wear black shirts on this day that even the bride is wearing satin whites. Funny though, some were honest to say its to manage sweat / dirt and  I say, let it dirty on this your d-day.
4. Muticoloured clothes, suits, skirts and blouses and what I may call AS YOU LIKE have been used for gowns for brides before as the persons spirit or religion of church doctrine accepts. Regards,
