A 36-year-old Turkish woman last Saturday set a man she alleged raped her on fire in a mosque in Reutlingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. She said her action was revenge for his segxwal assault of her. The woman poured petrol on the 38-year-old man before setting him alight. According to the police, the woman and the alleged molester had been friends for some time. The man denied segxwal molestation of the woman, saying their segxwal encounters were consensual. On Saturday afternoon in the mosque, according to the police, the woman’s husband and the man got into a fight. People intervened to break up the fight and in the pandemonium the woman poured petrol on the man from a canister and set him ablaze. The man was able to run outside and with the help of others, was able to take off the burning clothes. The woman and her husband were arrested at the scene by police.
