Happy Sunday Everyone

I have been prompted to share this message today.  We began praying for Lagos, Abuja and Jos.  There is still the north, south, east, west of Nigeria, the perimeter of Nigeria and all of Nigeria to pray for.  We started with Nigeria because it IS the Giant of Africa.  It is important that binding of demonic forces and influences in the land continue and God's Holy Spirit be loosed in the land.

I would like for all of us to pray for God's leading, as I will soon be going on another mission.  Someone here is to continue forward here with prayers and we pray whoever you are and where ever you are that you step out in faith.  My schedule is a busy one, I make time for God, my family, my friends, brothers and sisters in Christ, 2 jobs, college classes and caring for the unsaved, fun, movies, music, etc. ...it is only God Almighty who gives me the strength to stay balanced.  So, whatever is going on in your life, trust God always.  All things are truly possible through Jesus.

The ultimate message for this region is when more people submit to the one true God, and tear down their idols, and no longer give free and wide range to demons/demonic forces to operate through those that allow them to...Nigeria will be transformed.

A few things to watch for:  the Bible speaks of a 7 year peace treaty; and a time when people will not be able to buy or sell without the mark of the beast {this mark will probably be used for identification purposes}.

Remain blessed

Psalm 34

I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.  My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.  magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.  I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.  They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.  This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.  The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.  taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.  fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.  The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.  Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.  What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?  Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.  Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.  The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.  The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.  The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.  The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.  Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.  He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.  Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.  The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

Great and Mighty God,
How wonderful you are.  Hallelujah....Father God, we give you highest praises.  In these times, many things are happening.  Lord, you have warned us so we would be are.  Thank you for being with us through whatever come.  Thank you for the strength, love, power, endurance, and mercy in Jesus name.  Jehovah you are so faithful and we are forever greatful.  Thank you for hearing and answering our prayer, in the name of Jesus , amen.

How to Impact Culture

How can we impact our culture today? Is it already good and getting better, or is it bad and getting worse? The biblical worldview of today's culture is that it is dark—and getting darker. By its very nature, it cannot get anything but worse because it has no inherent goodness to build on. As John MacArthur said, "Man has increased in scientific, medical, historical, educational, psychological, and technological knowledge to an astounding degree. But he has not changed his own basic nature and he has not improved society. His confidence has increased, but his peace of mind has diminished. His accomplishments have increased, but his sense of purpose and meaning have all but disappeared."

Sadly, this world will get worse before it gets better. In the last days, "Evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived" (2 Timothy 3:13). Any person who knows the history of mankind, even the history of the past 100 years, and thinks that man is evolving upward is not only deceiving, but being deceived.

So how do we reach our culture? First, we must use a language they understand. As believers, at times we get frustrated because it does not seem like people are listening to what we have to say. One reason could be that we are speaking in a different language. We say things like, "Are you saved? Have you been washed in the blood? Have you been sanctified and justified?" When it comes to nonbelievers, we have a language barrier to scale. I am not suggesting that we not use biblical verbiage, but rather that we recognize that some people do not necessarily understand what we are saying. To even talk about "receiving Christ in your life" to a nonbeliever may sound mysterious. I am suggesting that we use biblical terms, but we need to translate.

We must also find common ground. Paul put it this way, "Yes, I try to find common ground with everyone so that I might bring them to Christ. I do all this to spread the Good News, and in doing so I enjoy its blessings" (1 Corinthians 9:22–23). The Message puts it this way: "I have voluntarily become a servant to any and all in order to reach a wide range of people: religious, nonreligious, meticulous moralists, loose-living immoralists, the defeated, the demoralized whoever."

Jesus modeled this with the woman at the well—a loose-living immoralist—appealing to her inner thirst. He did the same thing with Nicodemus, the meticulous moralist. Paul spoke at Mars Hill to the nonreligious and Peter spoke on Pentecost to the religious. In each of these situations, they adapted to their audience without compromising content.

Thank you Jehovah God for blessing us the way that you do, though we don't always see them or appreciate them!!!  I travelled to Madrid, Spain and to Lagos, Nigeria.  I am now in the process of catching up on everything back home.  I have met many new people and have seen so many things...God is so so wonderful and He is so amazing in how he works through the lives of people.

Prayer is a mighty mighty weapon...able to reach anyone, anywhere!  Glory and praises to God!!!

Thank you Jesus for travelling mercies, protection, endurance and love.

Undercover Christians

Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
James 4:4

Have you ever tried to be an undercover Christian? That is what happened to Peter. He was trying to blend into the woodwork. He had been following Jesus at a distance and became cold, so he was attracted to the warmth of the enemy's fire.

At this point, Peter was worn down, defeated, weak, and vulnerable. Why was he even in the high priest's courtyard? According to Matthew 26:58, "he went in and sat with the servants to see the end." Peter had forgotten all that Jesus had said about His resurrection from the dead. Now he was just waiting for the end—the end of Jesus' life . . . the end of his dream . . . the end of everything he held dear. But it was not the end. It would be a new beginning.

Here was Peter's problem: he was in the wrong place with the wrong people, about to do the wrong thing. And when that passion in our heart begins to die, the fire we had for Christ will grow cold, and we will look elsewhere for warmth.

The Bible tells us,

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper. (Psalm 1:1–3)

When you hang out with the wrong people at the wrong place at the wrong time, then it is only a matter of time until you do the wrong thing.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your blessings and for having mercy on us your people.  Our prayers for those in Jos and all over the world continue no matter where we are...in Jesus name, amen.

Greeting 9japals,

My schedule hasn't settled yet...there are so many emails I received that I would love to share.  I was about posting one of the messages from an email today but I am prompted to ask a question of all of you.

While I was traveling, I talked with alot of people who are having tough times in this life, people who are suffering or watching a family member suffer through one sickness or another.  A majority said that they do not believe in God, others were a part of one religion or another.  The overall summary had to do with these two questions.  The first question, if there is a God, why are so many people suffering here on earth?  The second question, why would a loving God send people to hell?

I have posed this question to a few others but it addresses both of these questions at one time.

Let's say you are a king or queen of a new kingdom.  You gather all of your officials together and discuss and implement the new laws to govern the new kingdom and the consequences.  The kingdom was safe and free from violence.  There was so much harmony and peace in the kingdom it was a wonderful place to live.  The ruler of the kingdom knew the families that made up the kingdom, even their children.  One day, something happened.  Someone broke one of the laws and the consequence for breaking that law is death.

What would you do and why?

Happy Saturday 9japals,

The question about being king (or queen) of a kingdom is one I asked so many people, even face to face during my travel.  To my surprise, the majority of people refused to answer this question or moved the conversation in a totally different direction.  Maybe the answer will bring about other questions??  But, that's a good thing...yes?

"See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ."  Colossians 2:8

Dear Heavenly Father,
Help us to always see what we need to see and do what needs to be done.  We pray for your people in Jos and everywhere.  May they receive your strength, encouragement and protection in every situation.  We pray for the innocent children and widows that their needs be met in every area of their life.  All this we pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Your people in Jos (and Mali) and everywhere, we stand in the gap for those who are struggling to get to where you have called them to be...we stand in the gap for those who satan is fighting against to keep them from getting to where you have called them to be in the name of Jesus, amen.

Psalm 71:3
Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.

Infallible Proofs

The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen, to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.  Acts 1:1–3

Christianity is not some feel-good belief system that asks you to check your brains at the door and believe in a misguided fairytale. Rather, Christianity is based on reliable and documented evidence of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, thereby justifying His claims and promises.

Clearly there is an element of faith that is required to be a believer. But it is also important for us to know that our beliefs are built on clear facts. Acts 1:3 tells us that Jesus "also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them [the disciples] during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God." The Greek word used here for "proof" includes the idea of being convincing.

Some, dating back to the earliest days of the church, have said that Jesus never rose from the dead. Some have said the disciples were hallucinating when they saw Jesus, or they concocted the story about Jesus' rising again from the dead.

But Luke, who penned what we know as the book of Acts, was saying from the outset, "I have proof." Again, in the original Greek, the meaning of "being seen by them" in Acts 1:3 refers to the eyeball. So another way to translate this would be to say the disciples "eyeballed" Jesus for 40 days.

Have you ever had someone eyeball you? They just look at you, staring. The disciples eyeballed Jesus. He didn't just make one or two post-resurrection appearances. He was popping up everywhere. They saw Him again and again.

And when you have seen someone rise from the dead, well, things just aren't the same anymore. The disciples were transformed, and they couldn't keep it to themselves. They went and changed their world.

Though I have not had chance to communicate online much these days about what is happening in our time, they are in mines and other believers prayers all over the world.

Father God,

Thank you for hearing and answering our prayers.  We do not see everything that is happening but you do and we trust and stand on your word alone.  We continue to lift up in prayer all those in Jos that are called by you to make a difference in that land.  Those in authority, leadership, government, education and every other aspect of life, great I Am, we stand in the gap for them and pray they receiver boldness, strength, courage, love, protection, endurance and every good thing from you to help them in reaching their goal set by you....in Jesus name.  You only want our good and nothing more.  Help us to remember that what kills, steals and destroys is NEVER from you.  We bind every evil influence regarding those who have been called in Jesus name and loose God's grace and mercy.  Stand up and step out in the mighty name of Jesus the Christ.  Every plan, scheme and manipulation of satan's concerning those ones who have been called are exposed, spoiled and destroyed in the Holy name of Jesus, amen.
