i'm so confused

i'm a white girl and my boyfriend is nigerian.i love him so much.but he told me if i really love him i should come and live in nijah.am really scary cuz i have never been there.i dont know the culture and mentality is different also.and the other problem is that his family doesnt want to accept me.pls suggest me what to do!!!!

Like I told you before, the bulk of the job lies with your guy, it doesnt have much to do with ur to-be inlaws, they are only trying to protect their interest which every human being will do, but your fiance needs to assure dem and even handle them like a family that they are to him. dat means to be friendly when neccessary, make dem see reason, where applicable, and put his foot down where and when needed. If he does these, you dnt have any problem with Naija people!

Nigeria despite its' miss givings is a wonderful place with wonderful people.Marriage is not what you jump into as its done in Europe.Here, we take our time to study both the indevidual and the family. You see not being raceist, what i feel the family thinks, is that after a while, u may wake up tomorrow and ask for a devorce for no reason.When we marry in Africa, we marry for life.Think about what i told you and if you realy love this guy and he too loves you, you guys can collectively prove the family wrong.
