I have a very-very good answer for your question. Allah (God) and Muhammad (S.A.W.) are not being protected by Muslims. No one can protect Allah because no one can do him harm. At this very time, no one can hurt Muhammad (S.A.W.) because no one can see him talk less of touching him or inflicting any bodily harm to him. What we are doing is showing our discomfort for disrespecting him that you christians are doing. I know it is part of your life to deliberately insult somebody else's faith in order to trigger his anger but let me tell you one thing.
Islam and Christianity are two entirely different faiths. When your jesus was living he lived among his disciples who followed him and what he says but a night before he was crucified, some of his disciples denied knowing him at all. You see? That is your problem. You don't respect jesus, you don't love him and you even don't want accept knowing him. This is from the beginning of christianity. Now that so many christians have been saying that why must we talk while you (christians) did not say anything when Da Vinci Code was done and I will tell you that it is because you have no respect, love and care for Jesus and Christianity that is why you cannot do anything. I am pretty sure if such film or insult will be rained on you or your very fathers you will take it to court. You can even kill someone who insult your fathers. That means you care more for your fathers and your relatives near you much more than you respect, love and care for Jesus and your faith.
Islam from the beginning doesn't condone the type of life you lived. Christians watched when Jesus was being crucified. No one did anything, no one can even show a sign of disagreement. Look at how you celebrate his death every December. Are you not ashamed of yourselves? Celebrating Jesus's death?
