Hmm I don't know about this situation. It happens a lot in England nigerian guys in universities are always looking for girls to marry for visa it's cringing. British people walk around freely in nigeria because they follow the immigration rules! If Nigerians don't follow british immigration rules you should expect consequences.

This isnt a new thing  ... You need a valid visa to stay in abroad  . Arranged marriage is what some people do  . There is nothing bad in it

REALLY I DONT KNOW WHY SOME NIGERIANS HATE FELLOW NIGERIANS FOR NOTING, THIS GUY NEVER DID THE WORST, HE NEVER MARRIED A NIGERIA, BUT PEOPLE WILL FORGET THAT AND LAY ALL BLAMES TO THE NIGERIAN ALONE, THIS GUY SHOULD BE SOMEONE WORKING VERY HARD TO EARN A LIVING WITHOUT LEGAL PAPERS, IT COSTED HIM LONG TIME TO KEEP THIS MONEY FOR THE MARRIAGE JUST TO HAVE PAPERS SO THAT HE CAN GOT TO HOSPITAL WHEN SICK, TRAVEL BACK TO NIGERIA WHEN HE WANTS AND NOTING MORE, HE PAID AN EUROPIAN FOR THE MARRIAGE, NOW THE PERSON THAT WAS PAID WILL NEVER RETURN THIS MONEY AND GOT 8MONTHS AND HE THAT PAID GOT 12MONTHS, THATS NOT FAIR,

What retaliation? He was not trying to colonize them. This is about “marriage of convenience” it is common among immigrants not only from Nigeria. Fake marriage is not a new thing in the world but it is a bad idea.
