This dude is HIGH-larious! A 28-year-old man Wayne Bamford, pleaded with the court not to be handed a curfew – because he cannot stand his mother’s constant gossiping.
This was after the court warned he would have to be indoors at night after admitting possession of cannabis. But in response to his punishment, he told the magistrate: “You must be joking. I can’t stay in with my mother…
“You don’t know what it is like living with her. She just rattles on all the time, gossiping.
“Why can’t I just have a fine, please?”
But the Judge refused to relent. He was still given a 28-day 10pm to 7am curfew, which will be monitored by an electronic tag.
Bamford told the court on Wednesday: “This punishment is worse than a fine. She just goes on and on. I can’t concentrate on watching television.”
