Two factions of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) have engaged each other in street fight as they try to show support for either the Federal Government or the teachers in the ongoing strike action embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), which is almost a month now. The lecturers have been on strike since August 13, in protest of conditions of service, state of education in Nigerian, among others. During a public encounter in Abuja on Tuesday, the two factions of NANS took the streets with different placards and tags engaging in a face off. Lots of comments have followed on social media, some speculations as well, wondering if those supposed members of NANS engaged in the fight are truly students . See photos below;
