It has been revealed that the President of Arewa Youths Consultative Forum, Alhaji Shetima Yerima who ordered Igbos out of the North is married to a Calabar woman. He debunked reports that he has deep hatred for the Igbos. The revelation was made in a recent interview. When asked whether he has phobia for the Igbos or just fighting this cause based on your conviction, he said: “A lot of my friends are Igbo people. I have nothing against the Igbo. "It did not end there, let me also demonstrate that to you; my first wife is from Calabar, the old South Eastern region. We have two kids. I have a good relationship with the Igbo. "I have attended an event organized in memory of Odumegwu Ojukwu in Owerri under the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) led by Ralph Uwazuruike. For the past five years, I have been going to Owerri. "How best would I describe my relationship with the Igbo? During my school days in Lagos State University, Igbo people are my best friends. I am not against the Igbo but I am against any tribe that abuses the sensibilities of my leaders. "And this is what prompted the action but thank God, it has come to an end. I still maintain my relationship with my Igbo brothers. All the ethnic groups in this country, I want to appeal to them, let us come together and build a nation of our own. "We should know that all of us are being marginalized and what we should do is to come together and build the nation we can call our own. We are all human beings and we are bound to make things right or wrong.”

You married the Igbo/Calabar woman out of lust, not love. This is not the first time Igbos have been asked to leave or vacate north or become maimed, massacred etc. Rescinding the order does not alleviate the pains and anguish already caused the Igbo people. Enough is enough, and we have nothing in common, so is best to divide the country and allow every group to fend for itself. Thanks but no thanks for your cheat talk/lure.

@Ess_Boom: I think u got it twisted. I don't know what part of Nigeria u came from or your age and knowledge of Nigerian history; but, I remember vividly who was the PRO and the main Biafran Radio Broadcaster during the Nigerian Civil War. He was a Calabar man and his popular closing remark of every news segment was "He that is surrounded by his enemies does not sleep much/at night, so, Biafrans, do not go to sleep". I'm talking about a man called Mazi Okoko Ndem. does that name resonate in your recollection of Biafran or Nigerian history (if there is any)? Also, Ndem is a Calabar name.

Let me educate you a little bit because you seem a bit too dumb at your age. read about Philip Effiong, from Ibiono Ibom Local Government, he was the one that surrendered after Ojukwu had fled the war.
My comment wasn't even about the history of Nigeria, I was just letting people know that Calabar isn't Igbo, like the poster made it sound as if the this man married an Igbo woman.
Try reading to your understanding before making a comment, I hate communicating with fools

@Ess_Bomm: "Calabar girl isn't an Igbo girl..and Calabar is in Cross River state of Nigeria, not Biafra". It seems u are suffering amnesia at your young age; because the statement above was your original comment. How are on earth would you turn around and say you were not talking about history? What more History could anybody talk about than that? I also think you are delirious and confused with your baseless line of argument. If I may ask this question, do you think Phillip Effiong was a Biafran or Nigerian and when he surrendered the fighting, did he surrender as a Biafran soldier or Nigerian soldier? His son was interviewed recently, please use your google and hear what he said.
