The ring is a symbol and it represents something.Its significance can not be over emphasised. It is necessary to put on ur wedding ring at all times if u have one.U dont need to hide for any body.

it's neccessary! The ring (cos of its circluar shape) means "the circle of everlasting" according to the egyptians who originated the ish! so it depends on u!
