Ghanaian dancehall and reggae singer, Stonebwoy, has tattooed the face of his late mother, Catherine Satekla on his back.
Stonebwoy who has never stopped to honour his late mother has taken the bold step to ink her face on his back.
Recall he named his album after her, composed a song and went on to build her a statue. ‘1GAD’ truly adored his mother and still does. The lastest of the things he has done is to ink her face on his skin.
The art was perfectly done at his back where it can be seen only when he is shirtless. Sharing the video, he said there is more of it to come.
It can be recalled that a few days back, the singer asked African nations to show their respect to Nigeria for holding it down globally in the entertainment scene.
He said Nigeria needs to be appreciated for its constant efforts in holding the mantle for Africa after several Nigerian artistes including Burna Boy won an award at the 63rd Grammy Awards on Sunday, March 14.
In the singer’s congratulatory tweet, he also took a swipe at Ghana’s Music Industry amid reports of beef among some celebrities.
He wrote;
“With All Due Respect Let All other African Nations Give It Up For Nigeria For their Constant efforts in Holding the Mantle for Africa when it comes to entertainment On The Global Scene. Congrats for holding it down at the Grammys.. As for Ghana , smh I’ll be back..”
