A Nigerian lady took to social media to air her views on relationships this coming festive season. She advised men that their girlfriends weren't their responsibility and should not allow any girl to pressure them into what they are not capable of.
She wrote:
“Don't allow any woman, especially a girlfriend that has not even being promoted to a wife pressurize you this December. That girlfriend you want to impress with your 'last card' this Xmas might dump you in January for someone else if you eventually become broke. Your girlfriend is her parents' responsibility and your own parents are your responsibility. Remember that after the Reggae comes the blues. If you exhaust all you have in December, January is surely waiting to ask you 'how far?'. If you must give your girlfriend anything, it should be from a place of will, not compulsion”
