Teenager, Hamza Yahaya Threatens To Commit Suicide If President Buhari Doesn’t Resign (Photos)

A teenager, Hamza Yahaya threatened to commit su!cide from the popular Kofar Nasarawa flyover bridge in the ancient city of Kano, if President Muhammadu Buhari does not resign.

The incident, which happened on Friday created a scene under the bridge linking the Emir of Kano’s palace and State road as passersby stopped by to catch a glance of the scenario.

It took the intervention of firemen to rescue Hamza from the pavement of the bridge.

According to an eyewitness and a resident of Kofar Nasarawa, Abdullahi Madugu who confirmed the development said he was on his way to attend the Friday Juma’at prayers when he fumed over the scene of the incident.

He said, “I was rushing to attend the Juma’at prayers around 1:30 pm when I saw a large crowd of people assembled watching a boy who climbed the bridge and threatened to commit suicide or President Muhammadu resigns.

“They appeased him to come down but he insisted that he would not come down. I heard him saying this with my ears. He is not a small boy. This may be a result of the situation of day-to-day activities.

“It was one Malam Musa that drew the attention of the fire service who deployed their men and rescued the boy,” Madugu said.

The Kano State Fire Service spokesperson, Saminu Yusif denied claims that Hamza threatened to commit suicide or President Buhari resigns.

The state police spokesperson, SP Abdullahi Haruna promised to investigate the matter.

I n I will see Jah face gentleman! Come 2023 , if nothing changes in Nigeria then we are going to split this country Caz I won’t be from distance fighting the war .The moment y’all shot the first bullet , I will volunteer my life ,even if it requires me to renounce my citizenship and severe tie with my country of birth but I will come to Nigeria and fight alongside comrades to free Nigeria. My years of Millitary training experience  has prepared me for days like this .Nigeria must be free ! It’s either though the ballot or through the bullet
