
Rihanna becomes the most-followed woman on Twitter dethroning Kate Perry.
According to SocialBlade, Rihanna had 108,278,326 followers to Perry’s 108,261,949, with just over 16,000 followers separating them.
Both could surpass the third-most followed man Justin Bieber, who is at 113,156,831 followers.
President Barack Obama is the second most followed man on the application with under 133 million, while Twitter executive Elon Musk secures the top position with 134 million followers.
The playground is different on Instagram, with Cristiano Ronaldo being the most-followed with more than 574 million followers, ahead of Lionel Messi with 454 million followers. At the time of this, Selena Gomez is the most-followed woman on the platform with 410 million, with Ariana Grande coming (362 million), followed by Kim Kardashian (350 million), and Beyoncé (304 million).
