So shameful and sad indeed. Ethnic pressure to get RICH QUICK, return home at CHRISTMAS to show off his EXPLOITS, and have a TRADITIONAL TITLE conferred upon him apparently had their unresistable appeals. The IGBOS of SOUTH-EASTERN NIGERIA are generally good people, but to have their beloved OLUIGBO (KING of IGBO) sentenced to death for DRUG TRAFFICKING in far away MALAYSIA, must have quite a dampening effect on the EYIMBA SPIRIT. I hope the NIGERIAN government will step up and make all efforts to secure his freedom or, at the very least, have his sentence commuted to life behind bars.
