Yes i think that in most cases it does increase the intimacy .but get this straight sex is not love u just do it to keep your libido
the prerisiquite for a relationship is understanding care and definition..its ur baby treat it right!
you can have sex and feel empty and disconected with ur partner.(some cases)

Making love and having sex with ur legal partner (wife) do increse intimacy btw d 2 parties involved. But having sex with an illegal partner like ur girlfriend, mistress, fiancee n d likes of it only increase u in immorality d main product of lust.
