Some of you guys here are veeeery funny... what is wrong with a Nigerian woman not appreciating flowers? . We are not in a country that has winter and then the flowers dead for months everywhere looks gloomy and then spring comes, the daffodils starts to bloom and  then the other flowers and everywhere look colourful, bright, warm and bla bla, its not the same. Flowers don't grow in Nigeria like that, the ones that are there are usual all year round. Its not like other places where flowers signify something and most people care about flowers and gardening.  You can't find that people like flowers in one place and expect that in another places where its a different culture a different atmosphere its going be the same thing. and not all white people or people that like in western countries appreciate flowers and not all Nigerians don't either.

People are different. Some like them, some don't, with good reasons, and that does not make us bush, hungry, and all the other ridiculous things I've seen on here. Anyone that thinks all women like flowers is narrow minded

personally, I like flowers that are rare and smell good.... I don't like plastic flowers, flowers that I see everywhere (not as a gift), unscented flowers, and roses (red especially) are overused.
