Should i Accept His Proposal?

My name is Ngozi am a widow with 3kids,I have a very close friend whose name is Ebere' we were so close that many people tot we are sisters,she fell sick n stayed in the hospital in Enugu 4 close to 6months n later She was referred to India,her husband n her Maid followed her n the Children started living with me,the husband came back not quite long n left the maid with her,every evening when the man is coming from Work the man must reach my house to see his kids n drop things 4 them if he brought anything not quite long Rumor started flying around that We were dating,many people started spreading it,my friend's younger sister started insulting me n Somehow it got to my friend's ear,she called me n I said nothing like that but her BP increased n not up to 3months she Died,the maid came back but the children refused to go back to their house,the first son said if he will go my son must follow him,so their father left them with me but always send money 4 their up keep,last month made it one year that my friend died n surprisingly he proposed to me,the man said I should marry him n help me mother he kids officially! Am so confuse cos many people will now believe we were truly dating b4 what do u think I should do? Accept him or let him see reasons why it can't be possible?

why  should you care what people think about u and him,na dem go live yr life,if u like the guy then marry him and if possible u guys can relocate...,since you are a widow then you can go ahead and marry him
