Our leaders prefer to fly in a journey that would ordinarily take few hours by road just because they deliberately turned our roads to death traps.Sorry it happened and may God accept their souls,but let the truth be told.In the US,we can travel from southern part of California to the northern part for just over 5 hours.And this is a distance of about 700 km.It becomes less boring and more of sight seeing.In Nigeria, such a journey will take about 2 days in our present day God forsaken roads. Some senators and congress men in the US, travel to work on the public train.In fact,the sitting vice president used to be one of them. The recent one I observed actually took his bicycle to work. But our leaders looted the nation's coffers beyond extinct and today,there are no roads,no viable railways,no electricity,no water too many tragedies.The poor die on our roads and the rich die in the sky. My sincere condolence to the families.
