Africa’s richest man, and die-hard Arsenal fan,Aliko Dangote, said he still wants to buy the English Premier League soccer team even after he was rebuffed by its owners in 2010.

Dangote who is worth $15.7 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, was in talks to buy a stake in the club five years ago before the deal didn’t pull through. The 58 year old, said in an interview as he traveled on a plane on May 1.

Quote
“I still hope, one day at the right price, that I’ll buy the team,”“I might buy it, not at a ridiculous price but a price that the owners won’t want to resist. I know my strategy.”

Well, he will first of all convince those WHO DO NOT trust HIM, that he does not receive PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT from the Nigerian government authorities!!!!

Many individuals, claim he gets benefits due to his willingness to SUPPORT Nigerian politicians FINANCIALLY.

And in the past he has criticised Arsene Wenger and his managerial skills. Arsenal appear to be doing okay at the moment with Wenger as boss!

Why not invest that money in your poverty stricken country called Nigeria, which will help more people gain employment than investing in Oyibo man county. Oyibo mentality.

Dangote to invest in Nigeria to reduce poverty? That's a very tall dream Bros, don't you see how cement price has skyrocketed? He is milking us dry. He posted huge profit margins this year after deceiving people that he reduced cement price to N1000 which never happened. After a short while we started hearing him complain of unstable electricity supply as the cause while he keeps recording monumental gain. I am not really impressed by his style of business. He does not mean well for the poor masses.
