It's her decision, nobody even force you, like in Syria Christian girls are forced, but you are in America and you made your choice, so accept and move on. The story of your life, many women have faced more than dat, some were forced, some were humiliated, some were used like objects, but your were somebody and you had a kind of fame, so yours was not that bad.
