What could make you quit your marriage?

Bayo is hardworking, but for reasons no one could really explain, things went awry with him and he tried all he could to change the situation. Things remained dismal for him. About a year and half after his marriage, he lost his job. His landlord threatened to evict him. His wife can’t get pregnant and things became unbearable for them. They were eventually evicted from their rented apartment and became homeless.

He did not overspend during his wedding to Bimpe. Bimpe, on her own, tried as a good wife to ensure things got better for her family. But when she could no longer cope, she opened up to him. To make matters worse, spiritualists told her that her husband was suffering from multiple generational curses. Would you quit your marriage for any reason?

I really do not see any situation God cannot change. There is no man God cannot change. Although years back, I thought it was easy to divorce, but later I discovered doing so would pave the way for another woman, a stranger who could take over my home with immediate effect.
Therefore, I see no reason to divorce my husband.
Whatever happens has remedy. God can change everyman with effective prayers.

Marriage is for better or worse, till death do us part. In other words, I am yet to see what would separate me from my husband. It is a do-or-die affair; I cannot afford to lose my husband.

Sure, I cannot tie myself down to a man, just because divorce is not good, as Christianity preaches. No, there would be one or two things I may not condone in marriage. For example, I won’t hesitate to call it quits if he is caught performing rituals and being fetish.
I can forgive a man who cheats on me, and fights with me. It is common in many homes, but any man who engages in rituals is a devil no woman can remain with.
It means anything can happen to me any day, anytime, including my children. Our lives are in danger.
Sometimes, men could be deceitful , they pretend to be nice when they need you, but thereafter, they come out of their shells.

Most women would say their husbands quarrel with them always. In that case it means the husband is troublesome. But if at all he is troublesome, that does not call for divorce, no. Every home has its cross, no home is devoid of one issue or the other.

If everyone backs-out for one reason or the other, how many homes will still have wives? What is the evidence that where you are going is devoid of what separated you from your husband?
So, endurance, patience and love are the keys to a successful home. Life is not a bed of roses.

A woman cannot endure everything in a marriage. When you endure virtually all things, you might see more terrible things ahead.
I’m not of the opinion that one should not endure, but it shouldn’t be too often and at least the husband should have sympathy, for God’s sake.
I have not seen what my husband could do which would warrant divorce.

Thank God for good wives who still keep their homes going, unlike some who cannot endure any trash.
In marriage you should be able to take everything, which means you love the imperfect person perfectly.

Once you abandon your matrimonial home, there are a thousand and one women hoping to troop into your home. Women who are more caring than you, more loving and perhaps more beautiful. So, where do you stand?
This, of course has rendered many women homeless and sad and they still regret their actions, but it’s too late to make amends.
Therefore, we women should be very careful when things like this happen. We should be submissive and responsible in whatsoever we do and finally it is advisable we know the types of friends we keep. We shouldn’t make our marriage a specimen or experiment, it could fail.

Marriage is a lifelong contract. This is why before going into marriage, you should think carefully. Anyone who wants to get married should know what it entails . That is why some who cannot cope have remained single, rather than being controlled by any man.
