Nigerian actor, politician and social media firebrand Yul Edochiehas called out the mentality of Nigerians in regards to how they treat the death and the living.

Edochie was in an accident recently and according to him, no one showed him any love after he survived.

But if he had died, he knows a lot of people and groups would have come around to ‘celebrate his life’.

According to Yul, that’s a bankrupt mentality and Nigerians need to get out of it.

It’s amazing the similarities between Ghana and Nigeria because we do exactly the same here too.

Shut up , the fella is spot on. We continue this sheepish culture of celebrating  dead people with lies and hypocrisy.  For money and other burial expenses ,  the dead are refrigerated for many months, yet when they're sick  no could get them to hospital for treatment.  Yul you're spot and never hesitate to say this anywhere.  How could you celebrate  the dead when you couldn't  celebrate life.
