President Muhammadu Buhari had a closed-door meeting with governors of All Progressives Congress (APC) states at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The Nation reports that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), and the chief of staff to the president, Mallam Abba Kyari, were also in the meeting with the president and governors. it was gathered that the meeting, which agenda was yet to be known as at the time of filing this report, started around 3pm yesterday.
The governors who were present at the meeting include those of Osun, Ogun, Plateau, Kebbi, Niger, Jigawa,Ekiti, Kaduna, Nasarawa, Borno, and Edo states. It was learnt that the Kogi state governor was represented by his deputy.
