President Buhari Approves Appointment Of Monica Dongban-Mensem As Appeal Court President

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Hon. Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem, as the Acting President of the Court of Appeal (PCA).

This was made known in short statement issued by Garba Shehu, the President’s Spokesman on Friday, May 29, 2020.

Justice Dongban-Mensem’s appointment will take effect from June 3, 2020, and is for a further period of three months.

The statement added that “This is pursuant to Section 238(4) and (5) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended).”
