Bandits Attack And Kidnap Imam, Kill 5 Worshipers During Prayer In Zamfara State

Armed men have murdered five worshippers and kidnap the Imam of that center in Zamafara State.

They seized an Imam by name, Mallam Yahaya, and other 40 worshippers, as reported by News men.

The episode happened on Friday during Juma'at supplications at a mosque in Kanoma.

The attackers raged the worship center with scores of bikes.

Their shots caused a charge and the Imam paused his meeting from the first Raka'a.

Rakaʿa is endorsed developments and petitions performed by Muslims as a component of Salaa supplication.

The Imam and others seized were strongly moved into the bushes.

On Saturday, he and a portion of the snatched worshippers were released.

Kanoma is a community kidnappers target due to the number of rich sugarcane farmers.

Mohammed Shehu, Public Relations Officer, Zamfara Police Command, said an update on the incident would be provided.
