It has been reported that a young Nigerian soldier has died in the fight against Boko Haram recently.

The Nigerian soldier allegedly died during a fight with Boko Haram on Friday, January 29.

This was revealed by a Twitter user @OvieSheikh, who shared the sad news online.



He wrote: ''Paid the supreme price yesterday in a fight against Boko Haram, may Allah grant Usman Abdullahi Aljannatu Firdaus.

"Always remember our troops in your Dua.''
