The child molestation case and defilement of the goddaughter of popular comedienne Adekola Adekanye aka Princess indicting veteran Nollywood actor Olarenwaju Omiyinka James more easily recognized as Baba Ijesha which resumed in court today has once again been adjourned.
The hearing of the case resumed today after being adjourned twice at the Lagos High court in Ikeja. The case has been adjourned till the 20th and 21st of October, 2021 for the defense counsel to cross-examine the witness brought forward by the prosecution. Earlier today comedienne Princess and the actor were spotted in court present for the hearing.
Baba Ijesha was arraigned before the court by the Lagos State Government on a six-count charge of attempted segxwal assault, segxwal assault of a minor, and indecent treatment of a child. Though he pleaded not guilty to the charges.
