I knew someone that spent over 12 million naira on his wedding and know another that spent 200k on his wedding. The later wedding was alot more fun and lovely..... most of the budget went into producing music, video and photos for the wedding --- he got venue and things like that for free ......

So average cost will be very relative, it depends on the objective of the event

i spend only 200,000 for my own traditional and wedding .though am still owning them which i knw i will not pay again.
marriage is all about negotiation.just like wat one of us said earlier that u should cut ur coat according to ur size.
