
Ismail Sahabi, a lecturer at the Federal College of Education in Zaria, Kaduna State, has been released from captivity after being abducted for 31 days. Sahabi, along with his brother, Sidi Aliyu Sahabi, and several others, was kidnapped while farming in Kasuwar Magani, Chikun Local Government Area.
The victims were freed on Friday, according to sources close to the family. The Sahabi brothers and their fellow captives, all residents of Tudun Wada, Zaria, are currently undergoing medical evaluations to assess their health following their ordeal.
Details regarding whether a ransom was paid for their release remain undisclosed.
