Security operatives in Katsina State have successfully rescued nine kidnapped victims, including eight females and a young boy, from armed bandits who attacked Unguwar Awa Village in Malumfashi Local Government Area.
According to Dr. Mua’zu Danmusa, Commissioner of Security and Internal Affairs, the rescue operation was launched after a distress call from the community on September 13, 2024, at approximately 6:30 AM. The bandits had invaded the village, firing indiscriminately and abducting the victims.
