The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has urged Nigerians to track and report abandoned constituency projects in their communities.
The EFCC emphasized that it will prosecute those responsible for mismanaging or embezzling funds meant for such projects.
The commission called on citizens to act as whistleblowers by reporting cases of uncompleted projects funded by public money, highlighting that this initiative is part of the EFCC's broader effort to combat corruption and improve accountability in government spending.
The EFCC believes that with public participation, it will be easier to identify projects that were left unfinished despite the allocation of funds, ensuring that those responsible face the consequences.
This move aligns with the EFCC’s mission to safeguard public resources and promote good governance.
